Our room was impeccably clean with an electric kettle and wine, as example. The location was absolutely perfect and exceptionally nice, not very far from old town We stopped by Artizarra Bakery for coffee and treats, it was not too far away from the hotel❤

The value for our money at Hotel Des Remparts was great - simple yet comfortable room with soft blankets instead of suffocating duvees. The location was perfect, very close to the town center. But what really made our stay special was the lovely woman running the place. She was so welcoming, friendly, and even went out of her way to make us feel at home by letting us wait in the pub and ordering coffee for us.

I would have appreciated a bit more assistance from the children working there. A little extra help or guidance for senior guests would have made my vacation even more enjoyable.

She came to meet us at the railway station, even though we arrived late in the evening, and she was patient enough to wait a little longer because one of us was feeling sick. the kindness and hospitality of the staff made our stay memorable. the location was also perfect, right in the center of town but still quiet. the room had a water boiler and coffee and tea supplies, adding to the convenience. if you like traditional French hotels, Des Remparts is the right spot for you. Cons: For us, it was ideal. 👌.
